Panafricanism Conference L.A. California Sept 9th
This is an invitation to the Global African family to join in this important discussion that needs to take place in the 21st century.
The black world lives in Los Angeles. This includes Africans from the 55 countries on the continent, USA, Caribbean, South America, Polynesian islands...so why are we not talking. We have so many tribal groups from one country that refuse to engage with other tribal groups. This splinter weakens and dilutes the power we could have in an effort to tackle our global problems.
It is with this view that some Pan African visionaries have organised this event to bring us together for a Frank dialogue.
Some topics for discussion:
1. A question of identity - Who is African
2. News from Global Africa
3. What more than 100 years on Pan Africanism has taught us.
4. Dealing with America's domestic terrorism
5. Africa/Black arts and culture
6. State of Pan African politics on the continent
7. How to connect with other African communities in the Los Angeles area
8 more topics as time permits.
Our Global African Family is in deep trouble so the time for collective action is now. We need deep thinker who can introduce concrete and actionable solutions to our problems to make an effort to attend.
Date: Saturday September 9,
