Even though their decendants didn’t actively trade in the way their ancestors did, they still benefit from the system in which their ancestors put in place.
Reparations doesn’t mean free education, as in free “white mans education” at their colonial libraries. it means money. that money means investing in our development not theirs.
For the Afrikan Diaspora, we need to heal from personal and community trauma and the best place is home, the Motherland and Fatherland. Then we can heal the continent by working together to never let invaders come into our house ever again.
