Abibitumi! Abibifahodie! Abibitumi is where I learned what these snwwi words mean. It’s where I’ve started to learn a few greetings in Twi. Why is it important to learn Km languages? Because, in the words of Baba Mfundishi Jhutyms, “Culture is our Medicine”, and the culture of a people is embedded in their language. Abibitumi is a specBlackular educational Blackstitution that, among many things, heavily promotes Kmtyw learning Km languages. Through Abibitumi and Abibitumi memberships, we get to learn, build, and grow together!

Being a member of Abibitumi has been a life-changing experience. There is no other platform that has provided an uncolonized space for community, nation building, informational resources, creative opportunities, repatriation, conferences, Sankɔfa Journey, n.k. There are so many ways to be engaged on the site and I love having a space where I can commune with my brothers, sisters, and elders, not only to build relationships, but also to find practical and transformative ways to Black-inize myself and work toward Abibitumi and Abibifahodie.
