Nope, you can’t close the gap when you’re dealing with systematic oppression. In Economics school they teach about free markets, competition, and ceterius paribus (all things being equal) but in reality, it’s the opposite.

As Afrikan people we need to build our own economic ecosystems, modeled on our cultural values and heritage. if we are economicaly free and have own interdependent structures then we will not need to fiercely compete against each other to be accepted in other peoples economic structures.
