Pre-Colonial African studies or Africology 6 years agoDr. Ben’s works are still some of the best sources of information about Pre-Colonial Africa. My favorite section of the book pictured here explains how the belief about Jews building the Kemetic Pyramids is totally false. The bookstore I bought this from is no longer in existence. Dr. Ben published this himself in 1992.

The Fulani are descended from North and sub-Saharan nomadic Africans. They eventually moved to many West African areas. The Fulani were largely responsible for the spread of Islam throughout West Africa. They are still nomadic.

In addition to what Shade has said, they are a large ethnic nomadic group as well as linguistic found throughout West Afrika but principally in the Sahel from Sudan to Senegal and they are all under one umbrella of the Fula or Fulbe tribe.
