The ancient Kemetic culture can still be seen in many Afrikan tribes today. For example pictured below are the Himba women of Namibia who wear a very distinctive plaited headdress and even though these headdresses change from the prepubescent to that of the mature womens thick plaits (as well as the name), their crown resembles the headdress of the Kemetian Goddess deity Het -Heru. As the Kemetic culture was born from Afrikan culture, if we are to understand Kemet, then we should continue to study the tribes of Afrika and their ancient history (cultural continuity).
