I am the new President of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Honorable Marcus Garvey’s UNIA. I thought this organization died when Mr. Garvey was deported from the US in about 1928. IT DID NOT! The UNIA has been continuously operating since it’s inception in 1914. That makes it one of, if not the, oldest Black organization in existence. They intend to send me to Ghana soon. It will be good to meet the staff of Abibitumi face to face. Blacktastic!
