I can’t lie, I enjoy flashy fighters, but when they get knocked out very few recover from it…. 😔

I just saw this today. Michael Venom Page (the guy who got KO’d) has a slick style that reminds me of capoeira and other Montu arts. He is very creative and elusive in his movements…but, anyone can get it.

Michael studied Kung-Fu and Karate, but I agree, his style resembles Capoeira, Ladja, and other African combat systems.
I read that Michael also engages in Salsa dancing to improve his fluidity and timing which is fundamental in Capoeira. Capoeira seems to get written off as a dance and not a real combat system in the MMA world. However more and more fighters are moving towards African combat philosophy and not realizing it like Ido Portal’s “Body Movement” system. Ido Portal’s movement system is nothing more than an African combat philosophy.

Abibisika (Black Gold) Points
Muni (rôle) to the right (rather than trying to post and stand up) and he’s still in the fight. The stand-up looks Capoeira-like, but the Capoeira ground movements are what would have saved him. Hind-sight is 20/20, but just an observation.
