Indeed it is. The author covers many eurasian philosophies that have been the basis of various methodologies from positivism, post-positivism, humanism, marxism etc and their limitations then shows the utility of indigenous research methods

I haven’t gotten to that art yet. So far postcolonial and the idea that indigenous knowledge is at “the periphery”-
I saw in the book a sort of Prof Ngugi wa Thiong’o vibe. It tries to adapt indigenous knowledge into marxist ideas. It is sort of trying to find space and legitimacy within marxism. Nevertheless, I found some new information in that book at the time
