The centrality of the spirituality of the cultural reality of Afrikans has not limited Afrikan mastery of the material world. Indeed the world’s first and best model of spiritual and material mastery was Kemet (ancient Egypt). Kemet was technologically advanced in geometry, trigonometry, algebra, anatomy, medicine, astronomy, physics, architecture, etc. It was equally, if not more advanced in its conceptions and practices of spirituality. Kemet did not seek to find the god-force in the course of its scientific inquiry. It would have been clear to them that the sub-atomic particles of the infinite microcosmic world did not provide any special access to the god-force. The same is true of the quasars, galaxies, great attractions, etc. of the infinite macrocosmic. Study and mastery of the material world merely facilitates the development of the spirit within us.
