      I remember traveling to West Africa while in college in the late 1980s. We landed in Lome, Togo and the Village Du Benin was our academic base of operation. The top student spoke 23 languages. We visited Accra and Kumasi Ghana as well as Ganvie, Benin. Our delegation of 25 students and 25 University Administrators, Faculty and Students was lead by Mrs. and Dr. Lawrence Clark, and Mrs. and Dr. Augustus Witherspoon of North Carolina State University.

      Below is a picture of Dr. Clark showing us all how to enjoy our Homecoming. In addition below, you will find an image of us with our West African Hosts and Colleagues.
