Bes & Beset – Leland Jackson Foundation is seeking a skilled educator to co-design and facilitate an online professional development course for Black Special Education teachers and social workers. This initiative centers Afrocentric pedagogical frameworks, culturally responsive strategies, and restorative approaches for serving African American children with learning disabilities.
Focus Areas Include:
• Afrocentric curriculum design and instructional practice
• Integration of ancestral frameworks with educational benchmarks
• Capstone mentorship tied to community-based application
Ideal candidates bring expertise in special education, a commitment to culturally grounded teaching, and the ability to guide adult learners through reflective and applied learning.
