Love how Nana Kimbwandende Kia Bunseki Fu-Kiau was a huge promoter of learning and using our indigenous Afrikan languages. They’re the only ones that can truly express our worldview. We try in Eurasian, but everything is not a translation.

Ndiyo, ni kweli. I love what he says in the beginning of African Cosmology of the Bantu Congo about the importance of learning our languages for liberation. He encourages all Afrikans/kmtyw to learn our languages. I want to learn all of our languages because they are all my language. Just love it. Asante tena for this post.

Happy to see this group’s creation. Recommend Kindezi for communal child-rearing and elderly adult care. Mbongi for learning of the possibility of an indigenous political system. Bantu-Kongo Cosmology for learning about indigenous Kongo spirituality.

I am trying to improving my Kiswahili to an advanced level but after that I would like to learn Lingala or Kikongo. Also, which one of his books is completely in Kikongo? I know some of his books where he writes in Kikongo here and there throughout but… Read more
