Feed – Comparative Negro – Egyptian Linguistics

Group Description

This African linguistic group advances the idea of Dr. Theophile Obenga’s ” Negro-Egyptian” language family hypothesis. Dr. Obenga states “it would be possible in the future to identify a Negro-Egyptian language analogous to Indo-European” (UNESCO, 1978: 84). In the research of Dr. Obenga, he proposes the “Negro-Egyptian” classification with a putative language chart and linguistic evidence as sound correspondences and morphological correspondences with Medew Neter and other Black African languages. This group also examines the failed attempt to establish satisfactory African classifications by Joseph Greenberg and we also discuss new comparative linguistic data to further the scientific study of ” Negro – Egyptian”.
