The cooperative business model satisfies many of the democratic principles that promote a healthy economic relationship in a community. Implementing this model could encourage decentralized systems of productions and solidify sovereignty for communities that are manipulated for political gains by neocolonial structures.

Five identifiable cornerstone businesses for a sovereign community are Food, Clothing, Shelter, Education and Security. Exploring how to create and maintain these five cornerstone businesses in Afrikan communities world wide would empower us!
