Vitabu vya Kmtyw kwa Watoto Wetu(Kmtyw Books for Our Children 4 years agoHey Black Child by Useni Eugene Perkins is a book I use as a daily affirmation for my wadogo wanafunzi. I’m also going to introduce ‘age appropriate’ versions of mithali ya Kiafrika and make it where they can actually re-enact them. I’ll post on how it goes.

Emeka’s Gift by Ifeoma Onyefulu is a Blacknificent book for introducing counting to young Afrikan learners. To make it interactive include items that are in book and allow watoto to manipulate them with teacher support. Also promotes social emotional skills like connecting with family and community.
