My ‘wanafunzi wadogo’ LOVE this little film and the book, they see it and say, “Afrika, we are Afrikan” OR “Anansi the Spider!!” But dilemma, I found out the author of this version is white. I do get those books because if I didn’t we’d have few or no selections of books at all. It’s kinda frustrating. I definitely need to start writing my own books. Real talk.
