What is up with these ‘black males’ saying disparaging things about black women? I just read some post where some guy said something derogatory about LeBron James wife and then there was this ‘male’ who said something negative about Jill Scott. I’m not much into following black entertainers outside of the songs or films I may like that they happen to sing or act in, but this is not just a phenomena targeting celeb black women. Even yesterday this ‘black male’ mean muggin’ me I suggested to him to take his eyeballs and ‘mean mug’ some white girl. He was like, “I don’t *bleep* with white girl.” I just walked away, but he left me alone immediately. Any thoughts ladies?

No it wasnt. It was something someone sent me. They screenshotted it.

My point is for us to examine these behaviors and address them. I think this is as best a place as any to address Anti Black behavior black ppl practice towards each other.

I follow. My initial thought was that the places where those posts feature is like looking at the insane asylum and seeing crazy behavior in there. It’s to be expected given the isft nature of the place. At any rate, this can be a useful conversation here as you suggest. Is it diasporan Africans doing this or continental Africans or both?

In this case diasporic Africans. I try not to use FB or IG that much anymore, but I do get sent screenshots or links. Indeed, it is like an insane asylum on those sites. lol

I think a group discussion about this is necessary and would be very productive.

Also, the one incident occurred with me yesterday. I meant to write that in my 1st reply Dk Kambon.
