He still makes valid points to me. Until I find out he is really suspect Im gonna give him the benefit of the doubt. -
One of our biggest problem as black people is lack of resources, particularly financial. We do not have an economic framework to support our scholars and thought leaders. Some of them die poor and destitute while others engage in very suspect activities to simply make a living. I’ve learned a lot from Dr Umar but sadly he has his flaws……
This makes it hard to recommend him to people that are not so called “woke” yet.-
He is very flawed, but who isnt? Is it that he has a fake degree? Im not understanding why he is considered so suspect.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Dr Umar and I believe that his heart is in the right place. As far as I’m aware his degrees are genuine. I don’t have the full story but his management of the funds donated towards his school raised a few concerns.
