Was at the Sankofa conference and told some folks, and an Ankobea leader about the Abibtumi conference. Hope Ankobea comes as they are an org with longevity serious about ReAfrikanization.

It was Blacktastic, took my 14 yr old mtoto. Adults, youth and children went to separate tracks. My sun said in his track the teacher asked all of them who their favorite artist was and then proceeded to find their lyrics and read them aloud. They analyzed them. Surprisingly or not surprisingly even the watoto of Afrikan-centered parents, hold mainstream artists that get play on the radio as their favorites.
