I don’t recall if I said this, but our conversations on the issue, alongside those with others, made me realize the need to actually create a Kmtyw/Black criteria.

medase brotha, indeed, propagate that joint and teach more Kmtyu to use it for critical media analysis. The Sankofa conference has a youth track where they’ve analyzed songs before that the youth listen to, you know the common radio rap songs and ShakaRa has taught a media analysis class at Liberated Minds. This can be a tool they all can use, among others.
