Please join us for the BRA FIE repatriation initiative talk getting started now: https://www.abibitumi.com/groups/habesha-inc/buddymeet/group/-
@obadelekambon, I just watched the recording from Habesha on the Bra Fie Repatriation Program and it’s exactly what I need. I thought that I could just up and relocate, but I really need full on cultural + skills re-training + decompressing/ dewhitenzation. I’m in great physical shape and want to work with the soil, bamboo and animals to help make a place for those yet to come.
Here are my initial transformation steps:
– stop doing: Decrakkkerization
○ withdraw from decolonial discussions and projects.
○ give away Euro-oriented clothes, books and objects (declutter)
○ pull time and money from white orgs and projects
– start doing: ReAfricanization.
○ sign up for BRA FIE cohort training
○ budget to donate to Abibitumi, + Habesha
○ establish relationship w/ North Scale herbal team
○ organize my material on design with bamboo and thatch
○ share Habesha website with other like-minded folx
The work that Abibitumi and Habesha and others are doing to build a repat bridge out of this white destroyer’s desert is deeply needed! Looking forward to contributing to the building of the human world again!! Very excited to hear that Habesha is connected to the Mursi too!!. So Blackstastic!!-

BlackMazing transformation @ajayrevels, and how are your repatriation plans coming along?-
Re: transformation @obadelekambon. I reached the critical tipping point after absorbing 6 months of AF history from a variety of fundi, learning about AF innovations and liberation efforts whereever Black ppl live, participating in 8 different AF groups and absorbing a little AF culture. Your amazing “uncolonizable spaces” talk pushed me over the edge. The anti-fungal is starting to work!! I’m creating repat plans b/c I didn’t really have a “plan” other than to get out of yuruguland. If I don’t qualify for the Habesha cohort, then I’ll create my own parallel program to learn culture and figure out a biz endeavor. Right now I’m focused on cleaning my nest of papers, books and clothes.
