I Love the Black events that took place in the so called month of August. But I believe by August being named after a White Boy “Augustus’ we should give this title an Official KEMETYU Name!! Can Someone help me out? What’s some Afrikan names for the number 8 because August is the eighth month? And we Name these events under those Names

The whole month system developed by our Kmtyw Ancestors is different. 3 seasons (Axt, prt, Smw) with four months in each, each of the months having 30 days, then 5 days at the end of the year, which coincided with the heliacal rising of sopdet. Around the time of the harvest, which is still when contemporary Kmtyw celebrate the new year with yam and other harvest festivals. In short, it’s not enough to re-label an anti-Kmtyw misrepresentation of time with a Kmty label.

We need to find the oldest confirmed date from actual Kmtyw calendars and see how it maps onto the fraud roman dates so we can see clearly how to situate and locate ourselves in time. An app or perpetual calendar would be good for this. I’ve seen people selling so-called Kmtyw calendars online by I’m not sure the method by which they arrived at the dates.

Pierre Nillon is a Kemetologist from Guadeloupe and he’s done some serious work on this. He goes into it in great detail here. Unfortunately, the video is in French.

Experience a truth-telling journey that reclaims the Black roots of one of the world’s greatest civilizations—Kemet (Ancient Egypt). The Abibitumi Film Series is a powerful visual narrative dedicated to restoring Black identity, cultural memory, and global liberation through African-centered storytelling.
