This is us – my complement @songsore and I – a mid-20s couple striving for centered love. This pictured was captured in Accra, Ghana during my first visit to the country. Can you believe we were actually just friends in this picture? Later, he wooed me with all his Iwa Pele, Black talk, and African affection, and so the love came naturally. and here I am, a Diaspora woman, making repatriation plans. I would have it no other way. He’s my home in my homeland. :) Hoping to share and learn more from experienced complementarity couples to make our bond more Black and exact.

I know right. I can’t imagine what the pictures will look like now. LOL. How does that song go? “Your love struck me down, Lightning, Thunder in my soul, baby… my love grows stronger each day baby please, don’t hurt me just because, you know I’ll forgive.”

‘African’ centered love. Nothing wrong with it.

So I am the young Blackman from Dagaaba country about whom my mpenzi wrote. Checking in now after an eventful day. I was led here by the undying drumbeat from my mpenzi’s love…in the spirit of complementarity, she is the song and I am the dance.
