Egun Omode Performing Arts presents its upcoming live stage production, “THE CALABASH! THE GOURD! THE AGBE!” Written and choreographed by Makeda Kemit. A story about how the gourd was used as an instrument to bring together community.
Come join us for a theatrical experience like no other at the city of South Fulton’s Southwest Arts Center. Immerse yourself in the culture of Yoruba people and the mysteries of THE CALABASH! THE GOURD! THE AGBE! as we showcase its significance in our everyday lives. This 90-minute production promises to be a feast for the senses, with vibrant music, engaging performances, and interactive crowd participation.
