6 years agoComplementarity Couples and Revolutionary Singles Went to a conscious singles Black event last night at Everlasting life vegan restaurant. Had a ton of fun. I played the conscious version of the Soul Train scramble board and one a raffle ticket. My one raffle ticket ended up winning me a copy of my Baba Mwalimu Baruti ‘s book Complimentary. Now I have 2 copies. I asked if the book came with a brother to read it with. The event organizer said no. DOH! So I guess I’m still looking for a compliment to read this with :-) Like most singles events there were a ton of sister’s but connected with some cool people. Super fun night.2 Comments-

@kingwan I didn’t read it yet. I was waiting so I didn’t have any thoughts. I went to the Baruti’s Complimentarity conference in May/June/ but I haven’t read the book. I was seriously waiting for someone to read it with. But sure let’s connect. I see your email address on your profile. I just emailed you my phone number. I don’t text but anyone can call me any time. I’m not hiding from bill collectors or anyone so I answer my phone when it rings or return voicemail. :-)
