Needed a mental break from a long day and Just watched Too Big to Fail again. WTF was I thinking. This is less a movie and more a reenactment of how fucked up this country, banks, and the system is.
I remember a brotha sitting in my office years ago talking about how much it was going to help the Black community when everyone could get a loan regardless of their financial situation. I remember telling him how F-ing irresponsible that plan was an you can’t just talk about giving everybody loans as a solution to economic problems.Years later the adjustable rate mortgage scam broke and the f-ing financial crisis happened that as usual screwed the Black community the hardest and resulted in the biggest mass loss of Black real estate ownership since industrialization.
I hate this country.
