I keep hearing Africans born in the USA tell me reasons why I should want to stay in the belly of this beast called Amerikkka. They offer the same reasoning time and time again… since my declaration of my intent to leave here in my youth. It baffles me how they are unaware that they are really trying to justify themselves and their own logic for remaining in captivity. Everything we see, hear, touch, experience in this place tells us it’s past time to go. How are the veils still covering their basic senses?
