Sky father and the creator of human bodies which were brought to life by his breath. He is the father of all Orishas and owner of the Ori. His wife is Yemoja. He was also given authority over all the earth and he is the second son of Olodumare. In Yoruban mythology he is founding father or founder of the city Ife and rule as King over that city as a mortal yet his throne was lost to the lineage of his rival Oduduwa at some point during the 12th century.
