I’m glad that I found this site. I have heard from friends that Afrikan people don’t consider other blacks as Afrikan because of our colonial conditioning. My Afrikan brothers and sisters especially those from west coast of Afrika. We are Afrikan just like you, some of you need to stop stating that we aren’t Afrikan. This divisiveness needs to stop, we are one of you, we are not the white man child nor or we sons of slave masters, we are you, I get aggravated when some Afrikans want to separate the diaspora from the continent but ironically want to claim everyone who isn’t us as one of them. Also this is causing the diaspora to re identify ourselves with the names of colonize countries such as Bajan, Jamaican etc. However some of you will get mad with us for claiming our heritage which you reject us from. Can’t have it both ways, either you want us to return home or not. Anyways peace.

Don’t let an anti-Afrikan sell-out who happens to have been born on the continent have that power over you any more than you would let an anti-Afrikan sell-out who happened to have been born in the so-called diaspora.

I wouldn’t worry about the opinions of some Africans, moreover in life, you will never have 100% of people on your side in anything. Focus on your vision/mission and everything else will fall into place.
