I used an assortment of spices that I purchased from a Nigerian shop here. There was fennel, cumin, crushed red pepper, oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary, sage, marjoram, onions, garlic, parsley, a type of ‘season all’. It was definitely hot and spicy.
