Growing up I was attracted to Tupac’s energy & even today to a certain degree. Some of his methods & styles may not be healthy, liked or accepted by many. But for those who felt him deeply respected how he spoke his truth. He was indeed a spokes person for those of our ppl in the hood, he spoke their langauage & they could relate. I want to think this was his mission to try & reach those who appeared to be unreachable. This is not about trying to save all our ppl but do we like the so called rich Afrikans/Blacks, upper class, distance ourselves & say we aren’t like them & pretend they don’t exist, cuz they are just results & consequences of a wicked & oppressive dominating regime?
