It feels great to be in Afrika. Although I don’t have my luggage and my eating habits are completely messed up, I am elated to be here. The flight was long but very smooth. My son got stopped in Germany but hopefully, he will be on his way later today. It gets dark very early here (before 7pm) and I am way out on a dirt road where lots of markets are and animals are just walking around freely (chickens, goats, roosters). The time has me a bit off and I am way too far from the airport so I got another Air bnb that’s closer to a beach and with better wifi. I need to be close to vegan restaurants in which Im going to seek out today.
