Watch this video; Ghanaian hospitals are in dire need of staff while over 30,000 qualified nurses are sitting at home unemployed, even after several promises by the government to employ them. These nurses have to frequently picket at the premises of the Ministry of Health for these promises to be fulfilled. The privileged class people in high office don’t care because they can fly out of the country at anytime for medical care.

PS: After we left the scene, police were called in to harass and brutalise the nurses whose only crime was asking the government to fulfill its promises to them.
