AU Launches Decade-Long Program to Transform Education Across Continent

The initiative aims to enhance teachers’ professional role in Africa, as well as to revamp education processes, the AU said in a statement following the Pan African Conference on Teacher Education in Addis Ababa.

📚The plan also introduced six other frameworks, focusing on:

🟠Promoting the digitalization of learning;

🟠Creating African-led platforms for knowledge sharing;

🟠Ending learning poverty;

🟠Addressing teacher shortages.
