🇺🇬The coffee harvest in Uganda is expected to reach 558,000 tons in 2025\/2026, which is up 15% Uganda ranks second in Africa in coffee production, behind Ethiopia. In the new coffee season, a harvest of 558,000 tons of coffee (about 9.3 million 60kg bags) is expected in 2025-2026, which is 14.8% more than last season. The increase in harvest is due to the expansion of coffee-growing areas and the maturation of new plantations. Uganda exports almost 95% of its coffee, and the increase in harvest will lead to growth in export volumes. In the 2024-2025 financial year, coffee export revenues doubled to $2.2 billion.
