💰 The government is in preliminary talks with potential investors to form a consortium for the proposed airline, Shariff noted.
The plan is reportedly part of a broader push to diversify the economy, showcased at the upcoming Zanzibar Investment Summit 2026, which will highlight projects in infrastructure, ICT, real estate, blue economy, and industrial development.
