1. The linkages b/t ants resembles the “star” formations that sky divers use to link 3-4 ppl together to slow their descent through the air.
2. How could we use the floating ant raft pattern to signal the need to create a communications network between separate villages or communities?-
I see unity and reciprocity. There’s unity in all the ants partaking in formation of the raft for survival; and also reciprocity in how whenever an ant from the raft delinks and goes to the top of the raft, an ant from the top will go into the water to link with the raft. It’s a self sustaining system
