Greetings. My name is Khamael Joseph, from Columbia, South Carolina USA. I am honored to participate in this group but have no Specific knowledge about Afrikan Spirituality. If you understand the conditions of where I was born this would not be a surprise to you. I am however an Afrikan of the diaspora and share ancestry with all Afrikans. You can take the man out of Afrika but you can’t take the Afrikan out of the man. As I was typing that I realized that it’s not true because I know of some of my brothers and sisters here in America, that other than the color of their skin, you could not distinquish them from the white man. So I will say that my previous statement applies to me and maybe not everybody. I am 64 years and have pursued spirituality all my life. My innerstanding came from no direct Afrikan sources. Though some how I feel that what I may have been attracted to, actually has it’s roots in Afrika. With your help I look forward to making those connections. Khamael
