South African trying to learn more about African philosophy. There is a profound dearth of knowledge, contributions, intellectual discourse and discussions surrounding African cultures and their philosophies.

Found Dr Kambon’s lectures online, and now I’m here in search of more information

  South Africa has a lot of languages, but we have 11 officially recognised ones. I speak Zulu, Xhosa, Sepedi, a bit of tswana and Sotho. I can read and write okay in the first 3. and English too.

      what is frustrating, is that I can’t seem to get a hold of the books by Kamalu or Diop in SA :(
      You know any book stores that have a good supply of African philosophy lit I can browse? (even outside of Africa that do international shipping)
      Im ashamed I can’t even find a decent collection of these books at any of my local bookstores
