This is what I call performative Blackness. Folks will have no choice to accept that they're Black so theyll demonstrate it in visual appearance. Additionally, folks will engage in truth telling so far as the aamu find it acceptable, palatable even and doesnt offend their sensibilities. Its entry level visibility. But I agree with Obenfo and want to emphasize what Bro Kwanena said. Substance would equal full truth in expression and full action in their personal lives.
