Therefore, operating on this assumption, Afrikans should not disproportionately dominate this society’s negative social indicators. Since we officially represent around 12 percent of this nation’s population, we should account for somewhere around 12 percent of its prison population, not well over 62 percent. Unless you believe that Afrikans are genetically criminal, that we are born killers, thieves and thugs, as Europeans, the people who have manufactured this image of us, historically are, you know something is dangerously wrong here.”
