My dream is for this platform to eventually become a African=Black facebook . It’s insane how we made Zuckerberg wealthy by utilizing his platform. We also fail to understand that we willingly give soooooo much information to these spaces owned by entities that don’t represent our peoples interests. In a country that is historically known as our enemy but one that currently is hostile towards African people is it in our best interests to share the information we do? We are too vulnerable a population. If there was ever a time when our enemy wants to enslave or commit mass genocide of our people they will know exactly where to find us, our relatives, friends, hangouts, facial recognition and even psychological profile. These are the thoughts that keep bringing me back to Abibitumi.com My question is how can we develop the site and app to make it more aesthetically pleasing and user friendly. How can we better market this site?

Thanks for replying Brother. When I say “become a African=Black facebook” I simply mean in terms of our preferred medium of communication and connection. Now for aesthetically pleasing I am speaking more towards the app. The website is designed really well. The main improvement on the website is for uploading images and video. I would compare it to the Facebook or Instagram. They have functions that allow you to edit pictures before uploading. That is a feature that most users of those platforms enjoy. I haven’t used the messenger app in awhile so I will download it and see the changes that have been made. I know a few members in my community that specialize in design and marketing. I will reach out. I am definitely available and willing to participate to see the advancement of this platform. I will post a few videos and interviews that I did where I shout out this site. There are things that need to be discussed by our communities that I do not believe should be shared in public spaces. Thank you again for reaching out Brother. Let’s schedule a time to have a chat later this week.
