It’s always interesting to read Afurakan authors from the end of the 19th to the start of the 20th century, or so we are told these dates from a yurugu eurasian perspective. It’s interesting because these are the children and grandchildren of the Afurakan who were coming out of physical enslavement by the United snakes of amerikkka. They tend to still have the connections to their ancestors (who are our ancestors today) and Afuraka along with, albeit submerged as a survival tactic, #AfricanLifeAndCustoms

Good info on the response to the yurugu eurasian religion, Christianity, being superimposed onto the Afurakan mind; that the connection to nature and supernatural world is what makes us Afurakan; as well as concepts about family life.

It’s wild to see what we thought then and what we think about those same concepts today.

If you’re not familiar with Baba #EdwardBlyden he’s one of the progenitors of the conscious Afurakan/Black #SANKOFA movement that’s our beloved Baba #JohnHenrikClarke comes out of.
