African Diasporans have been providing monies for Ghana education system–many have built schools, and volunteered. This is nothing new.
However, the MoE of yesteryear and today have yet to acknowledge a need for an African-centered curriculum for African youth???
Research the T-TEL crew “Partners” (other than supposedly Ghana’s own universities).

I totally 💯% agree with you Mama Makeda.
What is the point of building new schools, if the school curriculum is the same old tired colonial education system that is being poured into the minds of innocent, impressionable Black children. And these same Black children who are getting this out-dated colonial anti-Black education who are going to be the leaders of Kmt-Abibiman-Farafina-Land of Black People (Afrika).
It is time for all of our educational curriculum system in Kmt-Abibiman-Farafina, to be Kmtyw Centered-Kmtyw Focused-Kmtyw Encircled.
It is long overdue for “Afrikan-Centered” education in Kmt-Abibiman-Farafina-Land of Black People.

I am not putting down or looking down on Ja Rule and his wife building a school In Ghana. In fact, I applaud them for at least putting some of their T.E.R. M (Time, Energy, Resources, Money) on the African Continent (Kmt-Abibiman-Farafina).
But I am always reminded on what the Great Ancestor Nana Malcolm Omowale X has warned us: “Never let your celebrities, your comedians, your singers, your rappers, and your entertainers, be the leader, the spokesperson and the face of the Black Community-Kmt-Abibiman-Farafina-Land of the Blacks”.
