So, last week they started the Ewe people’s film series at IAS. On a Blacker note, last Wednesday, we (me, Kala, and Efo Sela Adjei, who works at NAFTI) met with the Director and of NAFTI and his executives. They are enthusiastic about running the Black History Month Film Festival this coming February and hosting the Film Series. We will meet again next month to kick things off in terms of organizing and logistics. I am yet to hear back from UTAG about their member’s rights committee addressing the situation at IAS. I’ll follow up with them and update you soon.
