The reality is that we are not merely oppressed as a people in the world, but that the primary tool for oppression has been “ethnic cleansing.” Ethnic cleansing, the destruction of a sense of group identity and fostering an ideology of individualism, is the ultimate divide and conquer method through the fragmentation of our community. Enslavement, colonization, segregation/ apartheid and the ideology of white supremacy depend upon a state of African alienation from one another.
