The opponent with black and white stripes is a 2nd Degree Black Belt and Karate instructor, Samuel Obeng, here in Ghana. No karate instructors were overly harmed in the filming of this video. He starts using his karate only at about the 2 minute mark. The sparring goes to about 8:25 for a good 6 minutes to see how the two work out in a head-to-head clash! @afron8v

No, he’s too deep into japanese ancestral veneration.

I overstand the contribution of Yasuke and all to japan but :/

If not Yasuke, they are referencing Buddha. It’s all cultural misorientation at the end of the day.

Do you build off Kobi Kambon’s work ? Also never asked, y’all related?

In the sense of all Kmtyw are related and not building off of his work directly. My parents changed their names in 1975. I think he changed his in the 80s, but they definitely were working of the same name book.

Tight work. I tried finding the origin and meaning of the surname but mostly you pop up on the search engine now!

One of my PhD students @Chegadam said something like I’m not trying to find space on the internet, the internet is trying to find space on me. The name book I just referenced just said the name is Nigerian (pretty vague) and translates to “of the people”.

I thought that y’all @obadelekambon were related to khafra kambon in Trinidad.. after seeing his pro-stance on getting the jab, or as we say in Trinidad, “D juk”, it’s safe to say he isn’t related 😂

Only in the distant sense that all Black people are related, but if they’re with that jab, it shows where we don’t relate.
