4 years agoAncestorship of Nana Marcus Garvey 4 years ago · I did not know he was still alive. He joined the Ancestors last Tuesday, December 9th. He was an engineer, physicist and mathematician.

A famous painting from Ramses III’s tomb proves that the ancient Nile Valley people saw themselves as Black People and neither as Indo-Europeans nor as Semites. There is a color photo of this painting in Egypt Revisited: Journal of African Civilizations, Second Edition(1989), with Ivan Van Sertima as the editor.

Once he saw how the NAACP’s staff was white or near white he realized that organization was not going in the same direction as the UNIA. He became more disgusted after talking with DuBois.
