Reflection…

One of the principle concepts that needs to be crystallised for today’s generation of Pan-Afrikan development, is that of what is referred to in English as “Federation”. Our pre-colonial history as Afrikan people e.g. Wagadu,Kuba; as well as resistance to Maafa (Great Disaster/Enslavement/Colonialism) e.g. Palmares/Kilombo’s, Haiti – demonstrates that this concept has been very much Indigenous to our Political-Economic development.

Colonial narratives obscure this overstanding, in order to reinforce a divisive foundation, that sees this concept as completely alien and therefore entirely impossible. For this reason, it is necessary to accentuate these concepts as they exist in our indigenous Languages/Cultures as a means of dewhitenizing our political consciousness. 

I am therefore interested in learning as many terms in indigenous Afrikan Languages and indigenous Afrikan governance that give expression to this concept.
